Dear Love, What Would You Have Me Know?

While listening to Elizabeth Gilbert on The Telepathy Tapes, I heard her suggest something that sounded simple: write a letter from love itself.

But when I thought about asking love for a message, my chest tightened.

Maybe I was afraid love wouldn’t have anything to say to me. Or worse—that it would, and I wouldn’t feel worthy enough to receive it.

I’ve done plenty of uncomfortable things. I wasn’t expecting this to be one of them.

Still, I leaned in and asked:

Love, what would you have me know?

Then I started writing.

In the full post, I share the message that came through, exactly as I received it.
