Waiting in the Sunshine, Looking for a Storm

I woke from a dream with a familiar melody in my head and no idea what the song was called. When I finally found it, one line felt uncomfortably personal: I was standing in the sunshine but looking around like I was in a storm. As I build my healing business, fear and self-doubt can overshadow the joy of doing work I love. This is a story about receiving guidance through music—and realizing I’ve been so worried about whether I’ll get to keep this life that I’ve barely let myself enjoy living it.
